So nobody won the PowerBall yesterday. We're going down to Atlanta again and South Carolina is a PowerBall state. Yep, that means we must give our $3-$5 donation to the Stupid People Tax. I wouldn't mind 375 million dollars.
You know if you take it as cash and after taxes it is really only about $90-$95 million. The jackpot is an estamite of what it would pay out over 25 years - before taxes. ;) So, it's not quite the pay out you might imagine.
And those that think the lotto is their retirement plan are people like me who live pay check to pay check and cannot see saving for retirement. Coooome on lotto!!
